Kids’ cuts, fades, men’s cuts and beard trims

Kids' haircuts, taper and skin fades, men's cuts and beard trims. Parents say the barbers are patient with little ones and shy ones, and grown-ups say they're walked through the cut before it starts.

    Kids' haircuts

Haircuts for kids come up in five Google reviews and family friendly in thirteen. One parent brought their two-year-old, who was a bit scared, and says the barbers made him feel at ease and did a really neat job. Another says their shy lad is made to feel welcome, and another that their son won't choose anywhere else. If your child is nervous, ring ahead and ask when the shop tends to be quieter.

    Taper and skin fades

Taper fades and skin fades both come up in the reviews. One customer came in after another barber left ridges on his sides and a fade far higher than he asked for, and says Empire sorted it out and made his head look fresh. Say how high you want it and what grade, or bring a picture.

    Men's haircuts

Three reviewers call it a brilliant cut, and several say the barbers walk you through the cut first: one first-timer says they took on board how he wanted it and explained how he could style it. Another calls it one of the best trims he's had in a while.

    Beard trims

Beard trims come up in seven Google reviews. Ask for a tidy-up, a full reshape or a sharp line, with your haircut or on its own.
